Launch a coin and it is wired to a neuron in a live fruit-fly brain. When your neuron fires, your coin earns.
A fruit fly's brain and nerve cord hold 166,700 neurons joined by 124.2 million synapses. Janelia and Google mapped every one of them. This is what they do.
Each compound eye has about 750 facets, and more than half of the brain works on vision: motion, edges, a shadow growing fast.
Odours travel from the antennae to the mushroom bodies, where about 2,000 Kenyon cells on each side learn what is food and what is danger. Reward neurons teach them.
A ring of compass neurons keeps track of the fly's direction, so it can hold a course toward food and away from trouble.
Descending neurons carry each decision down the nerve cord to the legs and wings. When something looms, the giant fibre fires and the fly is airborne in milliseconds.
Trading on Swarm becomes a moving pattern on the fly's eyes. A model runs the whole network on that input, and every coin's neuron fires or stays quiet depending on where it sits in the brain.
Your coin gets one of the brain's 166,700 neurons. Pick a region, roll, then name the coin.
You sign a plain-text launch request with your Solana wallet; nothing moves when you sign. Your coin launches on pump.fun with its neuron recorded in the request.
Five things, in order.
When you launch, your coin is wired to a free neuron in the male fruit-fly connectome: 166,700 neurons, 124.2 million synapses, mapped by Janelia and Google and released openly.
A model of the whole brain runs around the clock. Its eyes are fed by the market: trading on Swarm becomes the pattern the fly sees.
Every hour, 30% of Swarm's fees go into a pot. It is split between coins by how many times each coin's neuron fired, and each share buys back that coin.
Motion detectors and reward neurons are busy; others are quiet. The brain has only two giant fibre neurons. Rolling one is the jackpot.
Spike counts per coin and a hash of the simulation state are posted on-chain at the top of every hour, so anyone can check the split.
The brain on this page is an illustration, and the simulation is a model, not a living fly. Swarm is not affiliated with HHMI Janelia or Google. Coins are risky and can lose all their value.
